In any event, it is EASY to fix minor dents::
a) find the dent and place shaft so that dent is at the top
b) get a small cotton ball on a stick and dab it in water such that it is wet but not dripping.
c) place cotton on dent
d) wait 15 minutes for wood to swell then blot off any water
repeats (a..d) for each dent
e) allow to dry for 1 hour
f) take a shot glass and rub over dent to press the raised wood back down to the level of the rest of the wood.
So then a minor dents are common for used items as well ? Because it is virtually impossible to not slightly be hitting tables or chairs while focusing onto your shots and walking around
I run into everything with my body. That is how I make sure i completely stop. Works well with cars too.If you are in a very tight area, maybe, once a year. But even then, if you are not running into them with your body, you should not be doing so with the cue either.
