why not more than one cue ?

just every once in a while

I'm not saying switch back and forth every other shot. Like CJ says, he
plays almost every shot with TOI. I play with TOO and may play 10 or more
games never having to use inside, taking different routes for position
or just center to get where I need to be. But every once in a while it
comes up where you have no choice but to use inside, and you have
to aim 1/3 more or less different than the way you aimed for last hundred
balls or so. Not on an easy shot but one where you may have to power
it in and go all around the table. Just seems like it would be easier to
be able to aim pretty much the same as you had .

He plays but it's tough action. I take him to the pool room and what ever
money he has he puts in that claw machine trying to win a stuffed animal
or other great prize. We play a dollar a game and I know he went busted
on that machine. The tough part is he doesn't use the cue ball, just shoots
them straight in the pocket. You either have to break and run out or hope
he miscues. If you win he marks them up until he gets even playing double
or nothing. As soon as he gets winner he wants to settle up after each
game. He gets you four or five stuck, he snatches it up and takes off to
fire it at that machine. Then he comes back with an arm load of cokes
chips and candy bars he puts on my tab. " And give the pretty lady down
another of whatever she's drinking put it on my Papas tab. Maybe you
could straighten him out or overcome this but I'm not in.

You could get a golf bag full of cues and just stand it up by the table, maybe even have someone carry it back and forth to your chair and hold it steady while you ponder which cue suits your next shot. I think its exactly what the game needs... something to make it even slower and more painful to watch than it already is.

Alright, that's the last wise crack remark I'm putting up with from you
Billy Boy. I'm packing Jonah up right now and sending him out to you
for a while. See how you like that action. When he comes back he
better be able to run out with that same center ball straight stroke
you have, be able to make million dollar fancy ass cues, and driving
one of those fancy ass sports cars of yours. Or I'll send him right back.
