No no no. I have seen many an SL2 an SL3 upset an SL7 because of the bucket pockets.

Funny, but they actually do make 6' bar tables. In fact, the 7' bar tables are actually a touch bigger than a "home 7 footer."crawfish said:Because they don't make 3X6's. .
I think this is an interesting point and should be more examined. If 8' bar tables are vastly available, why not go to the bigger table?TheNewSharkster said:The majority of bar box tables I have seen are 8' with the occasional 9'. Even more rare is the 7' bar box. My point is you could have 8' coin op tables at the vegas tourny

P.S. The day I go to the pool hall and there is 7fters instead of 9fters I'll be done playing pool. F**K 7ft tables![]()

In my area, it's almost exclusively 8' bar tables. But, in my hometown (just the next county over really), they have almost exclusively the 7' bar tables as does much of the rest of the state as well as VT, CT that you'd see at the APA Nationals.
In fact, in my travels around the country, I rarely see 8' bar tables. So, it's a surprise to me to now hear that there are several other areas that are 8' bar table areas. Is this a new development, since I've been saying this for 10 years on the net and don't remember too many other people posting the same thing?
