Why the new 1 pocket rule of ball made on break, re-rack at Derby City?

Having never been to the DCC, it their venue, they can change rules. Rule are applied equally to everyone in the One Pocket Event, so I see no foul.

Just the same to me as some local event with their own rules.

Come & participate, or stay home, and don't be effected by Rules Change.

Agreed 100%. In fact, I think Derby City, an independent event, does as good a job with the rules as any American event. I'm in favor of the "rerack if a ball is made on the one-pocket break" rule. Of course, by far the best of the rules they use at Derby City is "no jump cues allowed."

Yes, jump cues are an abomination.
