It is difficult for me to try these out as there's no dealer for this shaft where I live, so I must order it overseas. Please I need your help!
There are three different types of whyte.
1) pearl (color is very bright white).
2) whyte carbon wood grain (looks like wood but CF).
3) normal black whyte carbon fiber.
Hear me out please, I am a revo user...tried gocustom, tried cynergy, tried jacoby cf and ignite....I've tried all and I wanted to try this whyte shaft...so I ordered the pearl whyte.
For me smoothness is everything, because I am a sweaty guy and I don't like using gloves, period. Thats why I went to CF route because wooden shafts require powder or gloves, unless a guy is slick and doesn't sweat its a different story but for me wood make squeeking sound as I stroke because of the dirt & how wood grains are.
So for me, these are my summery about the shafts.
1) Revo was the best as its very smooth without GLOVE and good to play with.
2) Ignite almost as smooth, cueing with this and revo too doesn't make any sound with my hand.
3) Gocustom, this one is the smoothest of them all, it goes really really amazing on the hands and doesn't make one sound, love it.
4) Cynergy, not as smooth as the first three shafts but it is a little smooth, but not as much as the previous ones as I still hear little sound as i'm cueing and moving it with closed bridge.
5) when I ordered Pearl from Whyte, I was very disappointed because there's a feeling as if you're cueing over some paints. Its not smooth at all and makes all type of sounds that i heard when i used wood.
Sorry for the long post but here I am asking about the other two types from whyte, the wood grain & the normal black...Do they have the same surface as the Pearl? Or are they smoother than it? If you guys tried them all please let me know because I want to replace my pearl whyte with another whyte if its smoother.
By the way if you're a glove user then you wont be able to tell a whole lot of difference as everything is smooth to you.
