Do you mean Whyte Carbon?I may be being lazy, it's Friday afternoon and I'm ready to go home. Does anyone know the standard Whyte shaft joint diameter? Thx, Shooter08
They are owned by the same parent company now and I believe are being produced in the Viking facility now.Yes, Whyte carbon shafts. I just thought my buddy was crazy saying they were a Viking shaft. Whyte has been around forever making carbon products. I was into bicycling when I was much younger and recognized the brand name. What do you use them on cue wise, how do they fit for overhang or opposite?
I have never tried a carbon fiber shaft, not interested for myself. I would be interested to know opinions on how they compare to other carbon fiber shafts incase I ever get offered and trade or buy for a cue resale. I've been using one on my Jim Pierce and have used it on my old Viking. I just got the Pearl white one with a Radial insert. I've had it on my Jacoby once so far.
I find they fit nicely with a very slight if any overhang on the Pierce and Viking and the opposite on the Jacoby but it you can hardly feel it. I certainly don't notice it when playing.
I'm honestly a good enough player to really see a difference between it and the Revo 11.8 I have.I have never tried a carbon fiber shaft, not interested for myself.
