Looking for someone to pickup my cue from the Meucci shop in Byhalia, MS.. and ship it back to me.

Long story short, I wasn't too smart  and didn't research all the customer service problems first. Shipped my 'Original Oldie-1' to them 3+ weeks ago and don't have any info on if its still alive.. I'm hoping though..

So I'll pay anyone that's in the local MS area, to ship my cue back to St Pete, FL.

Send me a PM with your price.

Thanks

Since that time I've emailed 3 times.. have no idea where it stands. But after reading all the comments on here over the past 10+ yrs I dont want to wait a year to get my cue, or worse off never see it again.

Meucci repair shop...SLOW and Maybe never !~

I haven't used the repair shop at Meucci for a loooong time...TOO SLOW!!!
Ryan at Mueller's Billiard Supply (RAT cues) has done warranty work for Meucci in the past. I don't know if they still do Warranty work for them, but they have ALL the parts necessary to do repair/refinish work for Meucci Cues AND if you have to pay, they are less expensive than any other repair shop (AND Ryan is a GREAT GUY and does excellent work !)
FYI

Thanks, like I mentioned I'm a dummy for not researching more. I just assumed OK, old meucci original, send it to the factory, but times have changed since I started shootin back in the 80's.

I've heard of Ryan (RAT cues) and the good comments about his work. Will use him if it comes down to that.

Update: not sure if someone on this board poked the sleeping meucci (if anyone did, thanks), but I got a reply just now they are working on the cue and will have it ready by next week. I'll update here on the progress. sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

I know Bob Meucci has been trying to rebuild his cue reputation in the industry as of late so maybe this one piece "customer service" is part of that rebuild.

maybe so - ol timers like me who skipped a generation of pool never knew meucci to be bad at customer service. hopefully they can turn the corner.

Just wanted to update this old thread since its been over a year... After trading 30+ back n forth emails with Meucci's 'repair shop' plus a couple of phone calls, my cue was never returned to me. During this over a year time frame I was given promises of several ship-back dates, only to have those dates come and go with new excuses as to why it wasn't shipped.

Looks like I'm a sucker boys, just wanted to warn anyone out there looking to use this company for repairs, stay away. Like I told them in my last email, I'm willing to spend more than the cue is worth to get it back - has sentimental value.
