will these fit GC and others?

Not sure why he has that listed like that but the part number for the gullys from brunswick is the same as the metro. The metro also has recessed castings like the 4 and 5.
 
Please explain how the same parts fit recessed and non recessed castings.
I have a gc1 or 2 (1964) and want recessed pockets, figured I'd have to route out a channel in the top of the castings to use later model recessed pockets and probably relocate the mounting holes slightly too to make that work out.
