Will we see O'Sullivan again?

You really have to wonder. First, the IPT said that if you didn't show up to the KOTH event in Orlando, whether in the field or not, you lost your IPT roster spot. Then, they bent that rule to accommodate O'Sullivan. Then, he showed up in Vegas, but skipped Reno. Tough to be convinced that he's serious about this.
My first impression would be to say "no" because I don't think he'll be in chicago and therefore he wont make the KOTH money wise. SO of course he wont make the top 100 and will lose card.
However I and almost certain things wont remain the same with regards qualifiers. The numbers are all still a bit vague for the end of year qualifiers as we dont know how many will lose card. If...
a) Sigel loses his card
b) All the snooker guys lose their cards
c) All the women lose theire cards
We will see wild cards or x amount of spots for the women, snooker players, HOF etc
From a marketing point of view it makes sense, it happens in other sports, its only a matter of time.

I watched his match against Q. Hann from the Vegas tournament and I only have this to say:
Who cares if we see Ronnie again? He is pretty much a non-factor anway.
These tournaments have had incredible action from players all over the world (including the aforementioned Hann), but I just don't see Ronnie O' Sullivan making any impact at all this season whether he competes or not.
He might be a luxury from a marketing standpoint, but from a competitive standpoint he is just another player.
