I have had several of these for years, and do tips with them as good as anyone with a lathe. Yes, the scuffer and leather are gone, but I use a rasp to scuff and a loose piece of thick leather to burnish. I just installed a brand new blade. (the package for the blade is shown so the buyer has the part number for replacements)
