i arrived at pheasant run about 2pm, and the tourney was in full force. a few well knowns that i seen were dennis hatch, the ashton twins, jerry breseith(sp)?, and shane van boening. i met njhustler from pool tees, daytona joe, and chris from chris' cues. of course i seen bob and eydie romano who treats my wife and i like kings. they really go out of there way and roll out the red carpet for us.... thank you bob and eydie. i made a few bucks in the minis and some 9ball action. there were ppl pitchin quarters for a bill, and 2 guys who i didnt know (ones name was eddie i believe) were playing one pocket for 1700 doughnuts a game and there was smaller action all over. thanks to bob and eydie i had a blast.
eydie, thank you for everything. sorry i didnt see you before we left but chrissys daughter was sick so we had to get home and get her some medicine. daytonajoe, it was a pleasure to meet you, and thanks for use of the ashtray...lol. hopefully next time we can shoot around. njhustler, nice to meet ya, stay away from the beer and youll prob make more money on them shirts....lol. chris' cues, nice to meet you as well, sorry i didnt get a chance to try out your cues. well, that pretty much sums it up, im off to DCC on thursday. timberly, if you read this i have some shirts coming to you from eydie on thursday.... see ya then.

Thanks for getting this thread started. I flew back in last night from Chi Town, exhausted but full of happiness from the best damn tourney each and every year.

Was great to see everyone again, and several suprises that joined us. Dennis Hatch was a late entrant that snapped off the 8 ball open. Tommy Hernandez was victorious in the 9 ball event, Danny Harriman won the banks game. I do not remeber the womens winners due to sleep deprevation !!

Pat Diveney once again had a great selection of his handiwork available, as well as Chris's Cues, Brandon Jacoby, Pooltees.com, Gill had more of his handtooled leather cases available, and of course Scott and the gang from Cuesight.com had a complete booth with everything anyone could use.

The action was non stop !! ( I can attest to the 24 hour format as most days the sun was up long before I found my room) It really heated up on Saturday with games of $50 to $5k being held throughout the room. The Hustle bus arrived with some of the hottest young talent currently in the game. Tommy D'Alfonso (Shorty), Jessica Barnes, Danny Smith, Kenny aka. Madhair form Philly. , Jerry T, Dennis Hatch and several others.

Jesse Bowman was in constant motion moving from one end of the other , and him and Shane V.B are still barking at each other for the big beans... Was great to meet Joey, the poet, and several other AZ members. I even had a chance to sit with Painpool (Aaron) and if he settled with the party he said he did, him and I are square.

All in all a great event by two people that give the world for their events Bob and Eydie Romano. They are already planning for Windy City 2007 and there will be some exciting announcements regarding that to be released soon.

I would also like to Thank the Seminole tribe of Florida for the support O.B extended with the monies added to the event !!!

Sounds like I missed a Great Event! Are there any event T-shirts left? I would like to order if there is.;).

The amount of work that goes into an event like this is huge. You'all clearly love the sport and are appreciated and admired by many. Hats off to a great job! Keep it up!
