Winning one pocket book

It's buyer beware. FWIW, I saw a new set (Winning 1p and More shots, moves, etc.) sell privately recently for $300.00 which I thought was a real square buy. I doubt there will be another edition of WOP, but I would not be surprised if Eddie Robin puts together another great pool book...I hope he does actually.

Absolutely. I have no idea exactly where the market is, but I would guestimate it would fetch between $125 and $150 in top condition. Eddie Robin says its a better book than Winning 1p if you're seeking knowledge about the game. Funny thing is Shots, Moves, sells for less!

Well worth the $ for the 2 books.

Its a very well bound book printed on quality paper.

The information contained in the 2 books is priceless.

I hope he publishes the strait pool book that was planned.
 
Jeez, I'm rich and didn't even know it.
I have two sets of both books on a shelf collecting dust.
I have read them both but if you have seen my one pocket game, you'd swear I never cracked the cover.
I also have a book by Eddie Robin called "Position Play in Three Cushion Billiards". Same hardback cover as the one pocket books and each section in the book is in English, Spanish and Japanese. I love the game but the closest billiard table is 90 miles away from where I live.
I also have a first edition "McGoorty" by Robert Bryne along with a number of other pool and billiard books.

Before anyone asks, they are not for sale. This entire collection was given to me by my good friend, Frank "Bananas" Rodriguez, upon his death a few years ago. There are stories about him in both of the one pocket books.
