That seems reasonable. Good luck with the sale.
(I already have a set of these books +
Position Play in my book collection)

I believe I already said this, but what the heck, these are great books, I have my own and would encourage any one pocket player who does not have them to get them, great info, lots of stuff to learn and just read about, some really great stories in these books as well. good luck. Nate.

I agree, I have them in e-book form...they're awesome books. $500 for both is a fair price...good luck.

How did you get them in E-form?

I got them from my supplier. ;) I'll still say that if you like the books, then buy them. $500 is a good price for this set. I have a hard copy of WOP that I'm going to sell when I am done with it, but that's for another thread.

Just so that all who are interested in these know, this is the lowest I can go on these books, and if they do not sell at this price I guess I will have them in my permanent collection...

a bump for some great books at a great price

That recent thread shows that the books are easily available for $375 including signature from the author. You posted in that very thread, mocking pletho for asking $700 for the same books. Now you are stating that $500 is "a great price"?

I don't think I've ever once written in someone's sale thread that their price was too high. I figure they are free to ask what they want, and people are free to buy it or not. I'm quite puzzled by why you would throw your support behind that pricing, though.

Yes, IMHO, $700 is too high...and yes I'm aware he is allowed to ask what he wants. I've also put in my two cents with him directly about it, it was just my opinion. ;)

At $500 for BOTH books, including all the fees and shipping...you're damn right I'll support that! Break it down, $250 per book (in the excellent condition they're in) on top of him paying the shipping AND losing 3% to paypal...which is $15.

So, yes...I'll gladly support his asking price here.

By your logic then, the real author charges...
$375 for BOTH books, $12 shipping (total), break it down $193.50 per book (in brand new condition) AND losing 3% to paypal...

So, this follow-up explanation is equally confusing.

Actually the author is losing more than that b/c Ebay takes a percent and Paypal takes a percent.

well

you know whats funny everybody wants to steal and talk bad about what asking prices for things are.....if you arent buying then what does your opinion matter maybe you should just keep yourself from clicking your little mouse and talking crap its easy to talk crap on the computer.....maybe he should ask $1 would that be fair or could you guys make up something bad about that price.....NITS!!!!!!!

I would not let them go for under your asking price either if
they were mine. They would have more value in the book
collection at that point.

I have the rarest position play in existence that
goes with my W1P and SMS (as Eddie calls his books). Eddie
gave it to me as a present at his place 2 years ago. Eddie
would not sell this particular book due to the inside cover
pages being inserted uspside down.

It still has his inventory marking label on the binding.

For the people who were knocking this sales price, you
need to know that it is an extremely rare instance that
Eddie puts his books on ebay anymore. He only puts
them on there when he runs into a box of them in
someone's inventory from back in the day.

The last time I was visiting him, a friend of mine
had bought out everything Eddie had at his place, so
it is a rare deal to get a book from Eddie anymore.

That is why I back Pletho on the $500.00 price as
being very fair.

Danny
