remember Winston Churchill's famous speech during World War II? the one where he said:
"never give up, Never Give Up, NEVER GIVE UP!"

thats my motto and the mental approach i am going to use. i may never win the U.S. Open, but i am going to keep trying.

Like many of the memebers here a lot of this stuff was before my time, some great clips on youtube of hitler and good old winst!

No matter what you think of him as a guy (pretty much only one conclusion I hope) Hitler sure knew how to deliver a speech. The way he hypnotised a nation, lucky we had Winston around, amazing how they both could deliver a speech. Why is it we just don't seem to get great speekers anymore?

Pool inspiration from Churchill:

"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb." -Sir Winston Churchill:)

"Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm." -Sir Winston Churchill:)

Well ...

I prefer George S. Patton's:

We're going to run those M***** F*****s off the face of the earth.

(Eye of the Tiger always does it for me ... lol)
