I'm off to play in my local APA singles regional tournament... 28 guys in the 6/7 bracket, ten of which are sevens (I'm not one of'em). Top two go to Vegas. Yee haw!

Actually it was 8-ball for me - they were running both 8 and 9 ball brackets at the same time.

I took my first match strong, lost my second/third matches equally as strongly. Damn but if the guy I played third didn't sink the 8 on the break *twice in a row*!
