Especially coming from watching a Predator event, I have no idea what I'm even looking at any more during a WNT event. The 2 or the 7? The 4 or the 5? I'm lost at times and the table just becomes a meaningless jumble, like I've never watched pool before.

Good thing Emily isn't in charge of some department of transportation somewhere. She'd have a traffic light green meaning stop within months.

I don't love the idea of celebrities getting places to draw attention to the sport, but I get how it could make sense to grow the sport. But they always seem to be rubbish celebrities. Goldstein is nowhere near as famous as Joe Rogan.

No he isn’t but he is hosting one of the biggest shows on the largest sports radio channel in the UK And to be fair , he won one game and only lost the last one by 2 games. Definitely good marketing because no other show or channel in the uk will speak about the pool
 
None of the 43 players in the event who are in the top 100 of Fargo Rate were eliminated in the first two days. All made it to the final 128.

Is it just me or is it really weird that they have the players sitting right next to each other in the corners? Seems like they don't really have their own space.

I just think it's odd how close they have them to each other. Being in the same corner is fine, but move the seats like a foot in each direction so they're not playing footsie while they wait for the ref to rack. :ROFLMAO:

First time I saw Omar was at the Derby a decade ago. No one knew who he was and he was robbing everyone in the action room (including Mark Tadd, who I’d never seen before).
