Women vs. Men

Which do you prefer to watch on tv, women or men matches?

As much as I enjoy watching the women display their talents (I also enjoy the eye candy ) the women don't have a WPC that pays six figures or a mosconi cup, other than the WPBA they are lacking in high profile events.

That's a really tough question. It depends on who the women are. Some of the women are soooo boring. I guess I lean towards the men. But like I said. It depends on who is playing.

Maybe they should employ a two foul hooter rule. I can hear Scott now. "Karen Corr has two fouls. Please remove your top."

What I like to watch better is a BIG money match at a pool hall/bar!

The problem with watching the women is the fact that they bring all that women stuff into the game. Gotta say hi to the baby, tell so and so that they love them, etc.

Granted the men are and can be slow but I think the shot clock had to be invented because of the women and they are too quick to bring out the jump stick. You very seldom see a male player using a jump stick, they will usually try to kick at the ball, even though they are excellent at jump shots.

I find the women quite boring to watch. Only a few that I'll watch for the whole hour match on ESPN. Only a few men I won't watch when they're on.

I think the women are much more exciting to watch. The guys never miss. Granted they're tremendously skilled but it makes for a less exciting competition.

Actually I like to watch both play because they both bring so much to the table. What really make me watch close is a good commentator. So many times the commentator sounds like they are new to the game.

What I would really like to see is a challenge match where a top female player challenges a male player.

I'm not voting, I think it's BS that women have to play in thier own tour, I think they are perfectly able to compete with men. The option that isn't there to vote for that should be is mixed, or both.

I like to watch pool played well. I don't care about the gender of those playing in a match. If they are playing the game well, I like to watch.

IMO it doesn't matter, because the production is lousy for both. I would rather watch an Accu-Stats one-pocket match any day.

Funny. This is the reason I prefer the men. The game is more skill oriented than dependent on composure.

I like to watch both, but I also really like to watch in person. Being there and knowing what's going on in the bracket adds to the excitement. Unfortunately, I've not yet had the chance to watch the men in person.

It much more entertaining to watch the men shoot.As good as the women are,I think that the men have a better overall game.But what the hell do I know.Even the worst of the female shooters would probably kick my butt on the table.

I'm darn glad that we have pool matches on tv, I watch anyone who is playing but, I prefer watching the men.
