Does anyone know what the record high run is in 3 cushion for a woman?

After some googling, the best I can come up with is Masako Katsura with a reported run of 19. See the final sentence in the section "Marriage and titles in Japan" in this Wikipedia article.

Katsura ran 10,000 points in straight rail in an exhibition.

If you don't find a better answer, you might want to contact Mike Shamos.

Thanks Rethunk, 19 is an impressive run for that era considering the unheated tables they played on.

Robert Byrne told me a story where Masako Katsura was a spectator at some Billiard event and somebody asked her if she would show the rail nurse. She Oh I couldn't, I haven't picked up a cue in 20 years. They convinced her to just hit a couple. So she got up and quickly ran 100 then went back to her seat.

Wow, 19 is very impressive considering it was before heated tables. I think the world record at the time was 25.
