We have a location! We have a date!

KB Billiards in Elkridge, Maryland will host the JPNEWT tour for a qualifier for the winner to play in the World 9 Ball Championship in China

July 24th and 25th!

This event is very close to BWI international Airport.....

We have a reserved rate for the WPA Worlds 9 ball qualifier at Best Western less than a mile from the room
Call 410 796 3300 or 800 western Group # NEWT.. $80 night 2 beds 2 people.
Don't wait there is a five day cut off, call asap we only blocked 10 rooms....

If you're looking for Best Western, use MapQuest instead of Google. Google is off by about 1/4 mile but MapQuest has it right.

Parking for the event

Hi Ladies

Parking may be a small issue for the event in Maryland next weekend due to a flea market next door to the pool room.

It won't be a major deal just something that we need to leave a few extra minutes in travel time for - we have a plan in place to shuttle to a lot a few blocks away.

But hey - we can go shopping?!?!
 
I don't think I will be able to come to this event on Saturday but I will definitely be there on Sunday.

Wouldn't you know that the event closest to my home would be on a weekend when I have a lot going on? :eek:

Plans have changed on my end. Right now, it looks like I will be there on Saturday but Sunday I may not be able to get there until late, if at all.

It seems all plans are subject to change.
At this point, all I can say is I will be there when I get there. :confused:

Andy, it looks like you will be seeing me. :)

I would also like to know who is entered but I like to be surprised too. :D
One thing is for sure, there will be a number of very good players.
 
Room opens at 9:00. Players' meeting at 11:00.

Can park across the street in the business part of a junk yard???

Congratulations Linda Shea!!!!! Sent to the B side by Neslihan yesterday and shot fantastic today to beat everyone she faced (including Neslihan Gurel who will be going to China to the World Championships)

2nd place: Neslihan Gurel
3rd: Kim Jones
4th: JiHyun Park
5th/6th: Borana Andoni and Lai Li

Great shooting to everyone today! It was strong all the way around! 2 hill hill matches



PS. I guess Andy lives closer than I do to post results :)

Next Event Cosmo's Sept 11+12

Next JPNEWT event will be September 11+12 at Cosmo's Billiards in Dickson City, PA
