wood burning a design in a cue??

i have one for a customer thats about ready for finish ill try and post pics of it before the finish and see what you think.

well it wasnt and it turned out well it was not burnt in very deep under 1/8 inch for the whole design almost like drawing it on, very fine lines.

i have pics its a horse head on the forarm and it looks neat the pics i have were taken with my phone and there not very good one day ill invest in a camera, maybe by when this cue has some finish on it and you can see it then.

I did some 4axis engraving on cues then wiped the engraving with black stain and finish sanded them and was told by a few that they thought it was burned in. It did have that look.
