From the color that came through in the pictures I don't think it is Kingwood or Cocobolo. But it does seem to be some kind of rosewood.

Definitely Kingwood and yes it is a Rosewood: Dalbergia cearensis

Yes, Brazilian kingwood. An excellent rosewood IMO.
