Some more wood porn The two on the left are 20 year old stick i found just took a cut to see if i could tell what they were the two on the right are bocote
I'm thinking the one on the lft is cocbola and not sure about the one next to it, it's darker and no red, but has the same grain as the cocbola
Second from left looks like wenge

My post was a joke, meant to say how different woods can look after the finish. No disrespect intended too.

He filled the order just to get paid instead of just saying, my stock isn't what your looking for right now.

Another Wood you don't see to often.
Here is a cue I am finishing up with Pyinma Burl (Asian Satinwood) and a remarkable piece of East Indian Rosewood. Haven't seen any with so much bright red in it.

Wow. Can you take some pictures with good sunlight so we can admire the red in it?

This is some of my Masur/Karelian Birch burl. I had this, along with 3 sister pieces imported from a contact in Ukraine, about 5 years ago. Sadly, it's been quite some time, since I've heard from them. Two of the pieces are around 26 inches long, which is extremely rare for this species. I've not seen their equal. I truly pray for the safety of those folks.
