I was wondering if anyone uses or has used lyptus in cue construction?
I don't know much about this wood and wanted some feedback and opinions on it.
Thanks!!

it is stable, lightweight and very strong.i would put it between Maple and Purpleheart.i bought a board of it but it is too thin to use for shafts so i haven't done anything with it.i would say it is a little harder and stronger than maple with similar weight.one thing i didn't like was the tone when i bounced it.nothing like Maple, but for a j/b cue i guess it would be fine.one good thing about it is that it is very cheap and highly sustainable.the actually have Lyptus farms in South America.
