That is what I am going to put it on an old 12" craftsman I want to set it up the be dedicated. I have another band saw for general cutting. I also got some cool blocks while I was at it. I have been using phenolic blocks I make myself that work great but heard a lot about cool blocks.

I said the saw was old.... I didn't say it didn't work well. It cuts better than day it was new in 1985.

These blades are like doubling the horsepower of your saw. I've run it through 10" maple and it doesn't stall or bind. I've also cut one piece of phenolic and ruined the blade. They do what they're supposed tro do way better than any blade I've tried.

You really should have another blade for cutting phenolic, corian, or ripping things like purple heard.

I am usually too lazy or in too big of a hurry to change the blade for one small cut. So I will probably have to get another slicer. I will drive into Atlanta to Highland Hardware and buy one when it gets dull. I have had it for 6 months and it is still sharp.

Installed it last night and it really cuts great. It even sounds better then other blades as it cuts. While I was at it I also did a little tune up on the saw. Surprising how things get out of whack. I waxed and buffed the table and then tried cutting a piece of 1" plywood. I could feed it through with little more the finger tip pressure. Now that is the way a saw is supposed to work.
