I'm looking for a supplier of wood, I've looked at Bell Forest, and they seem to be out of the good stuff. I'm looking for a piece of Curly Maple for the handle, bocote for the forearm, and butt cap.
Bell Forest seems to be the most popular but what are some others? Any help you guys can give would be great.
 
I'm sure you will get some PMs on the other suppliers.
I have bought quite a few nice pieces on EBay for decent prices.
You have to be diligent at times but they do show up.
In Canada, there is a place called Fraser Valley Fine woods.. We don't have any exotic indigenous wood but we do have an abundance of nice maple.
Google it and have a look. Look under turning wood. I just looked and there is a beeeeautiful piece (quilted), 22.5" for $20 with shipping to the USA for $22.

PS - I know, I know, I am in deep CaCa now.
