Words of wisdom this morning on fb

Have a cliff notes version? That's way too much to read on a Monday morning LOL

The big thing for me as a low intermediate player is to get all the little parts of the basics working all the time. That way when you game starts going south you can review and see what your missing. can't do that if your blaming anything but yourself.

Ya don't blame anything or anybody for your loss ,tip your hat ,, and practice more to get better

That'll never work. The table isn't level, opponent gets all the rolls, I forgot my glasses, I am off my medication, etc....We pool players have spent decades building our excuse catalog. LMAO

Take your beating and practice to get better and start giving the beatings one day. Seems logical to me.

JoeyM...Just hitting balls with no real intent makes the learning process a VERY long and tedious one. If you really want to 'get better' then get some quality instruction, so you know what to practice, and how to practice it. THEN you might start giving beatings instead of getting them! :D
