work safe avatars??

I view this forum at work mostly (working 3rd shift). I hate to sound like a wuss, but i've noticed that alot of people's avatars are getting a little lewd.

Although i personally don't have a problem with that, it's getting to the point that i could get in world of trouble just reading posts from my favorite forum if i continue to view it from work.

I know that if my boss saw some of the avatars on here, i might be looking at az from home from now on.

I'm just wondering if i'm the only one that feels this way.

You go to 'USER CP' at the top of each page and click there. Then, you click on 'Edit Options', where you will be presented with this:

"You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts." (UNclick the box 'Show avatars')
(x) Show Signatures
(x) Show Avatars
(x) Show Images (including attached images and images in code)

Edited to add: then you go to the bottom of the page and click SAVE CHANGES.

As Smorgie said, there is an option on this forum to turn off the avatar pictures, which would probably be your best bet.

I agree with you about the lewdness of some avatars. I think some men have a sexual inferiority complex which drives them to have avatars of women with large and, many times, fake breasts on them.

Most women with normal breasts find these pictures offensive. Men seem to enjoy googling at women with large sweat glands. I never did understand it.

KM doesn't oogle or google sweat glands! He's more into the diamonds, spades, hearts, and clubs! :D
