Engert vs Schmidt

The front page update lists Thomas Engert vs John Schmidt! That was / is a potential finals match up.

From who's left, I see that most of our pre-tournaments picks are still going strong....Engert, Schmidt, Ortmann & Hohmann.

The cream is rising towards the top.

I never quoted me before, but here goes...
"My pre-tournament picks to win are Thomas Engert & Oliver Ortmann"

You big dummy, did you see that Engert & Ortmann just lost?

I mean you could do it cheaper, but I'm with RandyG on this - if you go super cheap the experience is not going to be good and the best way to kill your attendance/paying customers for the next year is to have crappy performance the prior year...

but as a for instance...if there was a feature table it would be easy enough to setup just the one overhead shot, and assuming the hotel has at least a decent internet hook up already, stream that out at say 300-500kbps and maybe 640x480 stream...that simple setup you could probably do for next to nothing...you could even have someone doing captioning on it for the play by play pretty easily. And with just one stream...no support really...*might* be able to get away with some free/donated hosting...

of course this is why doing things jury rigged can be good sometimes - you do it like that - find out that 500-1000 people watch it and next year you can use that as your basis for attempting to make it better/paid for/profitable.
