Im guessing the in-fighting in the Philippines killed it. Sad-the biggest thing in pool apparently dead.

Jay, rumours are it could be delayed for eternity, i.e. cancelled forever. Remember multiple talks about how 9-ball is inferior to 10-ball and the latter is more fair to decide the world champion? Maybe those words reached Matchroom ears?!

OK, the rumor is January in either Manila or Singapore. But it is just that, only a rumor now. We'll shall see.
