Please ignore my other thread(s), this is the Price Drop phase thread.

Hi to all!
The market seems to stay hard these days so I'm going into a price drop phase on this world class player.
This means I'm open to offers and other price drops will follow but also if you wait too long it might be too late...
6th PRICE DROP!!! 2400$ via western union includes transfer fees and express shipping!!!
Excellent price for such a top quality player which I would keep if it didn't have a too thin butt for me.

This 5th Price Drop was around for a while since the price is beyond the point of being ridiculous for such a top cue...
Simon has just sold an 8 pointer Vollmer with great ring work, same construction and playability for double this price...

Thanks for looking!
Open to trade offers as well on thick butt cues (minimum 1.27 inches butt end diameter) with a piloted joint, especially Tascarella cues (no wrapless).
Petros

Cue in trading process!
Thanks for looking!

This price is a shame! Its a ****ing steal! Vollmer builds world-class cues with an exceptional playability. This cue would be something than 7000 Dollars if its new and you have to wait more than one year until its finsihed...
I would buy it right now if i had the money!

One more bump for this world class player.
I believe most of the guys do not know what they are missing in this case.
This is a truly ridiculous price for such a cue.
If you ask around people about the quality of Vollmer in terms of construction and hit you will understand. What more can I say? Terrible market..

Thursday bump!
Price of such a top cue beyond the point of being ridiculous now..
Will keep this 5th Price Drop for a while..
This is a crazy price drop and shows that the market is beyond description nowdays.
No way this top cue would last for long at 3k or even more if it was posted last year..
Anyway...

Petros,

This is getting to hurt me... bad. Real bad. Have you tried selling it to Germany by any chance? Maybe they would be a little more into this cue as they have more experience with the maker.

Anyhow, I wish that you can sell the cue soon!!

P.S.: just a question: is the forearm grey, by any chance - so that it is stained? I can't really tell it from the picture:o

Thanks for the support my friend.
Yes the forearm is grey.
Having played with almost any top cue, beyond personal preferences I dare to state that no player would need to ask for more in terms of costruction and especially playbility than this cue provides..
I would never change it if the butt wasn't too thin for me, not fitting my style of grip.
I knew the dimensions before it reached my hands but the opportunity to try such a world class player which it really is was tempting..
Anyway, it is my goal to reach the cue I want to keep for good and hard to believe the Vollmer offered at such great price is still here..

a few years ago I had never heard of vollmer cues. Thorsten told me he won his world 9ball championship with it, among some other major titles. It's his favorite cue of all time. Not too long after, he gave me his original vollmer, thortstens first ever custom cue. Both cues hit really good. Crisp feedback. The buts are slimmer on his cues and that can take some getting used to.

Really fine craftsmanship. If I'm not mistaken, vollmer did an internship with Tony of black boar (I cod be wrong, but there is a history there).

Good luck with your sale.

I'd consider letting mine go to
