Reminds me of the Field of Dreams line: " Is this heaven.?" No it's Kansas.

"Is this Europe?" No it's Korea.

Where are the Korean in the final stages?

I'd like to see another great Sang Lee from Korea in the top 5 world best players and i'm talking about his level of play/skills ( not with points gaining from participating in worldcups). None of the koreans today are close at that level despiting countless numbers of them average over 1.3.

Also, i'd like to see a great player come out of America. Many players in America are good but simply none is great...

This will help boost the level of competition and interest in fans around the world.

The europeans are dominating the world of three cushion..... kind of unfair!!!!

The results of the Suwon tournament were amazing. Although I was not surprised Blomdahl won, what an average to finish off with!

Haha yes! It would be exciting for someone in the US to represent! However, I think the US has their own big domain in pocket billiards.
It is like that where I play, as well. Most that play carom (where I live) are foreigners, not born in America. I think it may just be my area, though, I don't really know. I also don't know how much promotion 3c receives in Europe, but where I live I know it is not really big because many of my friends that play pool do not even know what a carom table looks like...

Pedro Piedrabuena is our Blomdahl/Caudron/Jaspers. He needs more world exposure in World Cups and World Championships. The USBA helps fund him dependant on his National's performance. We need a philanthropist/enthusiast to financially back him.

Having a youth program to create home-grown billiard players in this country would help.

I have noticed that many great indiduals r supportin the game finacially..
and at least I see the game is getting more popular slowly in the U.S.

There are many countries in south america where three cushion is very popular, Mexico as an example. Many are good of course but none is a consistent 1.5 and above average... So whats lacking? Are they not capitalizing the use of systems??
