We can't compete without a BIG change
Pedro gets beat by Sanchez 3-0, Pedro avg. 8.38, Sanchez 1.406. Too bad we had a chance!

P.S. Our top players will NEVER be able to compete with the rest of the billiard world until we change our format for ALL USBA tournamnets to 3 0f 5 15 point matches. The format the World Championship uses is the perfect format for the Nationals and Qualifiers in this country!
You wouldn't have a marathon runner train everyday to only run 10 miles,or a championship fighter train for 6 rounds. The same for billiards, we must hold tournaments formats that refelect the rest of the billiard world's standard.
Also, the USBA needs to think about finding a venue every year somewhere in the country in the middle, to hold the Nationals, so the players on each coast won't have so far to travel, IMHO!
