Agreed. I think it's mostly due to how fast this table is playing. Tic-Tac pool most of the time. Same as last year's Mosconi, meh....
btw: 5-5 Canada v France... nothing flash happening, not crappy either, though Klatt has given away a couple with soft shots.
France's Asian Montpellier is coming up with some gold, but got stiff to leave his partner a hard bank / safe which he flubbed via a double kiss and foul. Canada joins them on the hill. 6-6.

So far Romania has been most impressive.
France fatty misses a longish but simple shot, jags a snooker, Klatt, with dark clouds over his head, overcuts the jump shot and scratches... France clean up with ease. Deservedly so I think. Would give France about a 50:1 shot based on their performance. Canada, if they'd got through 66-1.

Disgusting how many rolls France got in that last rack. The table is playing like utter shit but it always seem to do so under the lights in these Matchroom events.

I vote for playing all tournaments with a paper cloth... if only to get rid of the platitude 'games aren't played on paper'.
You guys think it's gonna be another upset? Imagine all the underdogs eliminating the seeded teams for USA to steal the title. So far we don't have to worry about China or Canada.
