Looks like a stronger field this year, I'll be interested to see how Australia goes with Stuart Lawler / Shaun Budd. Both ex world class Snooker players and TOP 8 ball players. 9 Ball might be a stretch but they won't miss many.

Apparently Ireland will not win this year as they do not have a team (unlike last year)

The exclusion of Ireland is a disgrace to the international pool community IMO ;)

Lely/See and Feijen/van den Berg for our small country. Beyond Efren and Bustamente I don't feel anyone is a favorite against our boys. I wish them well and will cheer them on. We're having alot of great pool tournaments the last couple of years, there'll be many players participating that I've never seen before, should be good.

Shane is correct in that it will not be the same without an Irish team. But I am particularly disappointed that Khazakstan is not coming back this year. Perhpas because their captain Borat last year forgot that he uses a small dog as a cue and unscrewed him after the match.

I'm surprised he got past screwing it!

Very strong field, but the Pinoys are still favorite. In a competition like this, team chemistry has a lot to do with the outcome. Efren and Django are good buddies, and they know each others' games.

Though, I would love to see a Taiwan vs. PI finals.

Hong Kong did pretty well last year. They don't have a team this year. (Bobby) Lee Chin Man, where are you hiding this days?

Wcop

I really don't see anyone beating Efren and Django, unless Efren takes a normal turn at breaking, then a window may open.

Van Der Beck, I feel, is not a real strong 9 ball player.

The 3 teams, I think, may hang in there:
1) USA (If Corey's rythmn doesn't throw Rodney off)
2) Taiwan
3) Italy (Petroni has been playing better and better. Will his partner hold up his end?)
