World Cup of Pool

Currently 3-1 for Finland after Mika made a 2 rail carom on a 9 hanging over the pocket. Chris Melling is not playing in that usual style that looks impeccably smooth, perfectly moving the cue ball; he's looking like he's going through all the motions but something is off today.

4-1 now. Rolls are going Fin's way. Petra (I think his name is Petra) had a big skid on a 5-ball cut into the corner (like a quarter diamond skid), and it still went in. When those shots go in for my opponent, that's when I close my eyes and start to pray.

Mika has no fear! Told his partner to put the cb where he can play a cross bank and made it look like it's a cakewalk! It's 5 games to 1, Finland, race to 9...

This is turning into a massacre! It's 6-1 Finland and breaking, not that it matters today. :p

Daryl Peach scratched on his break and Finland mowed down the balls one by one. Finland 4 games up and breaking.

Another successful b&r for Finland, highlighted with a testy 8 foot, slow roll on the 4 by Makkonen, with the cb an inch
to being frozen, while the ob was definitely frozen on the rail . Finland on the hill now, 8 games to 3 and breaking...
