Allow me to comment on the statement, if we don't support these, pool will never be in the Olympics.
I don't know much, but I do know this. Pool will never be in the Olympics, that decision has been made long ago. They are reducing sports, not adding in more. If Bowling can't get in after spending millions and 20 years of intense lobbying, pool has no chance.
The BCA gave it a shot, spent a ton of money, and gave up, Ducoff is gone and they moved out of Colorado Springs. The earliest they would have a shot at getting in I think was 2025? They were never even on anyones short list.
The BCA is now dead broke, almost about to go under and close, they are down to 3 people from 28. The dying trade show which was their cash cow, dried up. They have no money and no people now to promote pool anywhere, especially to the Olympics in Europe. Their GM resigned knowing he was the captain of the Titanic and they never even replaced him.
Sorry about the bad news, but most of the powers to be in the pool world, have tried hard, to bury this bad news from reaching the general pool public.
I think we wasted way too much time and money on this losing cause for far too long.
