Sportsnet.ca (In Canada)is finally showing a re-run of the 2004 WPC. They are showing eleven two hours shows between now and Sept 5th.I've had my VCR rolling and will record all 22hrs.TSN another Canadian station is showing a re-run of the Molson Cup August 17,18 and 19th, so my VCR will be getting a workout.

I've also got over 18 hrs of last years 2003 WPC on tape and I'm looking to trade for the 2002 WPC and prior. In addition to these tapes I have several others of all different varietys. If anyone is looking to trade some pool videos (all varietys, 8+9 ball, straight pool and instructional), please PM me and we can exchange lists.

It would have been nice to get this stuff live giving the fact that millions and millions of North Americans play pool, however, I guess this is better than nothing.Alex Pagulayan represented Canada and became world chamoion and not a word about it was ever mentioned in the newspapers or TV sports shows.I think that sucks. RJ

Heres the TV stations showing pool in Canada:

Maybe somebody should tape it and sell copies. Nobody's showing it here in the USA yet and I don't know where I can order tapes. A cable network, Fox Sports World, showed it last year. This is like our version of the Olympics and we can't even see it -

Wow, I can't believe it they are not showing it in the USA yet. With so many great American players, it's a shame.Maybe they'll be showing it a little later on down the road. For my friends to south, I hope so.

I'll be done taping it on Sept 5th as that is the last show.I won't be selling any, however, would like to trade for other matches/ pool tapes. PM me if intersted. RJ

Great - I'm up for that. Don't forget to hit that red "RECORD" button, RJ.

I'll be up at 7:30 tommorow morning for my next taping session. I've also booked holidays for the two sessions they are showing at 1-3 pm in the afternoon. Lot's of stupid and different times but I'm on top of it...LOL. I'm also deleting all the commercials as I go.Just pure pool....with no buff...LOL, from your Canadian connection.RJ :D

OH Man, you're killing me. I must have a commercial free copy!

RJ, have you seen the Luc Salvas vs Takahashi match? It's a very fast exciting match..5-0 for Salvas, he actually won 3 of his group matches by whitewash. At least we get delayed coverge of WPC, most countries don't get any coverage whatsoever :(

RJ,

How's the announcing and who is it? How's the production? I sure wish we could get it, damn! Good for you though! :D

The announcers are Nick Halling (British ??) and Jim Wyche ( a former Canadian Snooker player). I find there announcing alright and they are certainly not as boring as some of the guys I heard doing the US Open 2003.Those guys were downright irratating.

Right now they've been showing 4 group matches within 2 hrs(1 1/2 hrs by the time you delete the commercials) as they are not into the final 64 player matches as of yet.The races in the group matches were to five, however in some of those matches they don't show all the games.

I''m happy enough with the production for sure. In one match Fong Pang Chao put on a clinic steamrolling Henry. The Pagulayan 4-5 loss to Dikks was a good match , and Salvas destoyed Takahashi running racks at lightning speed. The RJ

ps. Rick if you got some pool video matches to trade, feel free to PM me.
