Up for grabs for Michael was a tour card at the expence of Jimmy White if he won this match but now he needs to win every frame left to make it happen.

Judd beat Ryan 13-7 & Barry beat Ricky 13-11.

What's the difference between The Sporting Life's Simon Crawford & Jeff Anderson when they both seem to be as hapless & hopless as each other when it comes to tipping winners @ Snooker bets ? Jeff wrote a column that was worth a read .

Then again maybe Jeff Anderson changed his name to Simon Crawford by deed poll to keep in his job.

I said to son Johnny , I can't believe how bad Ronnie is playing in this match against Joe Perry & he just laughed & said well you know what O'Sullivan is like , he'll struggle in this one but blitz the next opponent , so who's he ?

I said Ronnie is down 9-7 nevermind who the next opponent is !

A quick couch session with Dr Steve Peters seems to have done the trick & as we know Ronnie beat Joe Perry.

Ronnie leads 6-2 V Shaun . :wink:

For Ronnie to turn a 2-0 deficit to Shaun into a 13-3 win was something else & it looks like The Devil himself is back in town ! :wink:
 
Hawkins edges into semi-finals

Some match that one & just when you thought Barry would take 2 quick frame for the win , no Dominic staged an almighty comeback to win 7 frames in a row to lead 12-11.

Frozen out & looking down & out Barry produced the goods when it mattered most.

One of these days a player will overdo the celebrations , especially when they punch the table cushions & end up with a broken hand & miss out the next match but that's just my opinion ! :wink:

For the record before the match started the best odds markets were;

Sitting back watching this on TV & Judd's in control & has posted his 11th Frame on the score doors , looking good for Judd trump fans at that point but then the wheels on the Juddernaught fell off , off , off !

Neil clicked into gear & played some great Snooker , potting & safety play was just excellent.

He left Judd with low value % potting chances & Judd being Judd he went for them & all the while I shaking my head thinking no Judd don't go for it dude , play the safety shot.

I'm sure when Judd looks at the video rerun he'll be thinking , I should've played safe there.

For the record the best match odds before the match I seen were:

7/4 Judd V 4/7 Neil.
