World Snooker Championships 2014

was real busy lately and forgot to check championship for 3-4 days. This Ronnie guy is unreal

10-5 lead in finals, another title is on its way to Ronnie

The session ends 10-7 Ronnie.
Mark finished bravely as usual....his sell-by date isn't 05-04-2014.

I'm using stopstream other....working good.

Ever notice when O'Sulllivan misses a shot he always examines his tip? It's as if he feels he himself couldn't possibly be the cause of the error.

I'm cheering for Mark all the way.

I didn't give Selby much of a chance, but I may change my mind.
If he can soften the Rocket with more safeties, he's got a chance.

Ronnie has fantastic talent, but he's not the match player that John Higgins is.

Dude's Mia needs a link

Anyone have a link to a stream?
Watching Eurosport 1 through cricfree.tv and it keeps buffering.

I'm watching on TV Mia but the cool dude's will help you out for stream links !

The Final , Day 1.

I lost count of the amount of times I thought this is when Ronnie O'Sullivan rockets away and stretches the gap but the scores on the doors say O'Sullivan 10 V 7 Selby.

Cueing down for a shot & you notice this loose piece on the end of the cue tip.

This was how I looked at it:

1. Just stay down on the shot & hope for the best.

2. Stay down on the shout but turn the cue until you dont see the loose thread.

3. Doesnt matter what happens as you will always get out the fine sandpaper & if the worst comes to the worst retip the cue !:)

Up For Grabs !

Ronnie10 V 7 Mark is the current scoreline.

The Final Day1 & until the final frame it looked like Ronnie was a runaway train & Marks highest break was 58 or something but Mark took the final frame & the gap is 3 frames.

BBC should put Cliff Thorburn into the commentary box for his opinions during a session because Mark Selby is grinding away & has somehow won 7 frames.;):grin::smile::thumbup:

Safety play was more grueling and entertaining. After 14&15 I was expecting more, but happier to see a close final. Its Ronnie's to lose if Selby keeps his break building sub par.
Thanks for the story on the ref., church66 !

The cloth seems better than last year's final. I remember a few rolls near the middles.

Don't go counting your chickens just yet. Don't get me wrong. I'm rooting for Ronnie and yeah. He IS a beast on the table. But Selby is FAR from a slouch. He's the #2 ranked player in the world. And right now, Selby seems to be firing on ALL cylinders while Ronnie is not at 100%. Score as of now is 10-8 Ronnie. Selby has won the last 3 frames and is looking like he's going to win the present frame as well. His match against #1 Neil Robertson was amazing to watch. Two guys playing top notch and staying neck and neck the whole time.

But that being said... what does it say about O'Sullivan that, even though he hasn't been at 100% this entire tournament, he's still sitting in the lead in the finals of the World Championship?? Ronnie is a downright animal!

Ronnie can't seem to find a rhythm and Mark is both fierce and determined.

11-10 Mark.
