Trying to figure out the winner the more I thought about it the more it made sense to go for Ronnie.you get the best of both worlds that way.you get to spend time with the wife and kids and they can't complain about not being at home.Then when they do Ronnie's nut in he can grab his passport and cue and think oh sod this I'm off to the German Open etc for a break.That way playing the tournaments are like a holiday,the perfect excuse to escape the wife and kids and all the responsibilities etc but then he drew Peter Ebdon and I jumped ship ! Oh well.;):D:thumbup:

Don't want to highjack the thread, but do these show snooker on a regular basis even though it may not be a championship contest? I can't get Eurosport here.:( I have really enjoyed watching these matches and want to thank you guys/gals for the links so I coudd watch. The Crucible is a great venue. I would love to see some of these matches in person.

Well, I think Ali Carter deserves a lot of kudos. He was totally discounted by everyone. I, for one, would enjoy a Carter vs. O'Sullivan final.

Every shot is a huge effort for Matthew to keep in touch but it is great viewing.He is not out of it.;)

Not a lot of players could keep up with Ronnie in this form.Near perfection so far.

Stevens isn't playing poorly or anything, you're right every credit for snatching 5 so far! If Maguire doesn't kick on then I can't see Carter taking ROS down in the final, assuming no fight back from MS.

He may have a few years under his belt but he sure looks like the best player in the world from where I'm sitting.

You never know what will happen with ronnie though. It's easy to keep your head screwed on right when you're playing like jesus. A bad session and some negative thoughts creep in??? nah, who am I kidding, he looks unbeatable right now!

I'm just stretching cause I've backed another horse in the race :p
