I just talked to Max Eberle and he informed me there were something like 68 players entered. He got a first round bye and then beat Gabe Owen in a hill-hill match, then beat Chris Suter. He plays Danny Harriman tonight at 9pm in the round of 16 winner side.

I asked him if it would be OK if AZ House Pro called him for an update and he said if he called tomorrow he would try to get him in touch with the tournament director so he could get regular updates.

So if AZ house pro reads this let me know how to get in touch with you to give you Max's number.

This is a pretty big tournament... I'm just curious as to why AZ isn't there?

Timberly, I very seldom actually go to tournaments. The majority of the time, I am getting tourney info from stringers at the various events. I don't have any stringers at this particular event, which is why I don't have brackets on it. This particular event is not taking place at a pool room, so it has been very difficult to get someone on the phone.
