World Summit Of Pool????

I can't help but notice that there still is no date or venue for the World Summit of Pool in NYC. Is this the first event to collaspe from the weight of the IPT?
 
hey wendy,,, the news from frank alvarez is that the WSOP will be held in Baltimore this year....i havent gotten the dates yet from him but he says its sometime in november....talk to you soon...

2005-----Slate
2006-----Baltimore??

nah not really, just moving around...I thought for the last few years that the WSOP would be held only in NYC...ya know like the US Open is always in VA...I guess they couldn't really get any deals this year..Slates was a nice venue, although there wasn't as much room as there was at Grand Central Station..& Baltimore is only about 4 hrs from NY anyways.....its just easier to drive in to manhattan & then come home as I please... when i find out more information I will keep everyone informed..
 
wow just about right before amsterdam east got shut down....now i'm hearing that amsterdam west is shutting down or moving to downtown....what a shame..such a nice venue..

Yup, they're renovating Corner Billiards (2 million dollar renovation that is) and are opening up in November.
