Strikeout Billiards Entertainment - Boosting Billiards

Hello Everyone,

This is Chris Niksch, owner of Georgia Billiard Academy. Over the last 18 months I have been desiging a new Billiards concept. I have designed a new game, new style of play, and a full 6 hr event to go with it. On Sunday May 5th we will be unveiling a Brand new concept for billiards, which we are hoping will create some outside interest to this fantastic game we all love to play and all want to see start reaching new levels in and outside the industry. Our goal is to turn billiards in to more of a spectator sport.

On May 5th we will have our Debut Xtreme Billiards Bout

First off, the question I'm sure you're curious of. What is an Xtreme Billiards Bout? This is a 9 round bout similar to a professional boxing match and a UFC fight, rather than having fighters go in and beat each other down, we will have 3 players step in to our newly designed arena and fight it out on a pool table. The players will be playing our new game Strikeout Billiards, The game has been designed for players to enjoy, but more importantly we built in a ton of showoff shots that the players will have to execute in order to score the most amount of points, which in turn will make it fascinating to watch. The reason we call it Xtreme is because the more Xtreme your shots are the better you'll score in order to win each round, similar to the X Games. Three step in the Arena and only one will step out a Champion. People love watching action, so we're going to give it to them.

Strikeout Billiards "The Game"

How is it played during a bout? The shooting player will start by breaking a 15 ball rack. Then you start your rack with ball in hand, this is just to make it where everyone starts off with the same fair chance. Players will receive 1 point per ball pocketed and will receive bonus points for all showoff shots that are called and executed. Examples of some of our showoff shots: "Going to the Bank" Bank shots, "Just Kickin it" Kick shots , " Superman" Jump shot, "Cruising Carom" carom shot, and we have several others. Object is get as many points as you can without Striking out. 3 Strikes and your out.

Keep checking our website www.strikeoutbilliards.com, we will be providing all game details through video and we will soon have it so you can download the game and start playing. I have built in 7 different levels that go from someone that has never picked up a cue all the way up to our cool Professional Xtreme Level. From our research we have found that just playing the game will help you better you own personal game.

If you're in the Atlanta area, you should definitely get yourself a ticket for our Debut event on May 5th. Go on our facebook page Strikeout Billiards Entertainment and secure your spot. We already have Diamond pool table and Cue Sports International as a few of our great event sponsors. If you want to see pool like you've never seen before, come out and let us show you, this is a must see.

We only have a limited number of tickets and they are already selling pretty fast, so hurry and get yours.

I wish you luck with it. I had some questions that I didn't see in the faq. Actually the faq only had one question, you might wanna add some.

- Any known players/pros doing it?
- They just run them in any order? Sort of like 6-pocket, but with bonus points?
A miss = a strike? Are the three players on the same team or it's a 3-way ring game?
You only get one rack or it's as many racks as you can manage in the timeframe?

I guess this was to be addressed in the video but when I went to the website I couldn't find it.
I think written rules and optionally a video should be up before you announce and try to sell tickets. I want to know what I'm buying. >_<

- Live only, or internet only, both?
