This is called 'A Day in the Life of a Pool Shark' by te aptly named 'Idiot Pilot'.

Two scrawny idiots fighting over nothing to crap music and a badly shot video. Not great branding for the Pool world.

Does anyone know what they're singing...sounded like 'aaaah...wahhhh...ehhhh' I must be getting old :confused:
 
Think the VERY WORST Pool Related Video I ever watched was a FREEBEE from Bob Meucci. It was Hyping his New RED DOT SHAFT. The Video was Boring, Bob was Boring, and I think the Production Cost did not exceed $1.98 including Bob's Mechanical Pool Shooting Machine.

Think if Given a Choice of a Root Canal without NOVOCAIN, or Watching the Video Non Stop I would choose the Root Canal. Worst part was Bob Meucci was DRESSED in Shorts.

The F.B.I., C.I.A., and other Law Enforcement should use Bob Video's as an Interrogation Tool. With the Threat of Talk, or you will have to see the Video until the Suspect talks. :D

The only way it relates to pool is through the title. I mean, unless I missed something, there's no pool scene and there's no mention of pool in the lyrics. It's just an angry band trying to come up with a catchy title.
 
The worst video I have seen is Mizerak's "Billiards: The Basics to the Best". I like the Miz, Mataya and the rest who were on the video, but it was the worst piece of crap I have ever seen.

haha...now this has turned into an interesting thread by accident.

Keep adding crap pool related videos and descriptions if ya'll have any.

One that I recall was from the World English 8-Ball Championships where some genious had the bright idea of broadcasting from 2 tables at the same time, crossing back and forth every minute.

Constantly we'd return to a table with the thought, what the hell happened. Constantly, halfway into an interesting game, it'd cross to see the other table.

I didn't listen/view it all because I configured my player wrong and it was not worth the hastle to re-configure it, LOL. I thought it was OK, but I like some pretty crappy music.

I have to agree with Jude, like Sublime's Pool Shark, the only thing pool related this song had going for it was the title.

Now one of the best Pool songs I have heard is Pool Shark by the Ska band The Toasters. Finding the song on the net is hard enough, let alone the video. I would up load the song, but I no longer haveit on my hard drive, so if you wanna hear it you can find a sample here .

As far as the worst I would have to go with ANYTHIMG by those stupid girls who formed that band GEL...or whatever. IP was advertising for them for awhile. My theory is any music mass marketed for ANYTHING specific has to suck...and wouldn't you know it...it does.

Best pool song I've ever heard is "Rack 'em Up" by Jonny Lang.

There was an old instructional video with the one and only Willie Mosconi.

Anyhow, he's a horrible horrible teacher. He's all over the place, and jumps from one topic to the next. Any beginner would be completely lost.

The best part is when he talks about english-induced throw. He sets up a straight in shot and imparts english on the cueball to show how throw will make the object ball miss the corner pocket. So he gets down on the cue, adds a few tips of english on a straight-in shot so that the object ball will miss..... and then he pockets the ball. OOps!

He was just trying to show how english throws object balls off their natural path, and all of a sudden he just pocketed the ball in the heart of the pocket. He jokes for a second about how over time you automatically adjust for throw when aiming.... but didn't they have a video editor!? I mean c'mon, this is an instructional video and they're leaving the bloopers right in.
 
The mosconi video sounds like it is similar with the pro book by bob hennning,where bob is teaching how to get the cb in position and he literally take 2 and 3 attempts and in some cases still dont get his predicted position.Any mediocre player can get position with several tries.Unfortunately in a game you only get 1 try to get position.I was very disappointed in this so called professional illustrative video.

The Loree John Jones and Jim Rempe video was horrible. Especially Loree's hair. However, the worst instructional video I ever saw was earl anthony's bowling video. Basically the whole video was Earl demonstrating how to through strikes. However, he used no diagrams, models or any other method to get the information accross. It goes to show that great people in any discipline can not neccessariy teach it.
