Worst table condition. Ever!

Is that really ice? Seems to me that there was too much friction going on, balls slowed down like on cloth and draw was taking pretty well. On ice I would expect the cueball to spin in place before it moved back. I think if you waxed up the balls they would play like on ice, and I know if I draw a shot with waxed balls I can see the cueball spin in place for a split second before heading back.
 
that has to be plastic and not ice? i played a 'table' on a remote island outside fijii that was missing the headrail and half of a siderail.. had boards nailed on to keep balls from the floor

It looks that way to me, the physics on how the balls react was just way off. Plus there was no water or reflection off the surface. No matter how cold, the friction of his hands and the balls spinning would melt a bit of the ice, which you should be able to see as water reflections and spray.
