Would You Believe This Deal????

If sellers would rule out the behind the scenes voodoo when they list an item for sale this would not happen. If you list an item with a price stipulate that only posters that reply in the thread will be recognozed as buyers. When someone makes a post in the thread that they will take it and noone else has posted before them they have every right to think they have "dibs". These PM's involving purcahse should be disallowed, if you want it post it and if you back out then everyone will know who is at fault. That would eliminate the he said-she said BS. Questions about the product could be asked and anwered via PM, but if you decide to buy the item you should make a post declaring your intention. If all sales were handled this way this particular situation would not have happened. Any items I sell in the future will be posted this way and I will state it in my description as such.
Unfortunately we have no control as to who post what on our selling thread.

A lot of people would like to bargain the price in PM before buying it. I understand that and allow that to a certain extend before closing the transaction. There are also others who will post that they will take it but continues haggling in PM.

It is not easy especially when you have something interesting to sell and a lot of PM comes in. Anyone can just declare that they will take it to stop others from showing interest then leisurely try to conclude the transaction.

IMO, if i did not say i agree to sell to you and I have not received your payment, the transaction is not concluded.

I certainly do not want to post a list of the people in the queue. Thats too much for a small priced item. Look at the end of the day, this is about a predator sneaky pete and an xbreaker for $300 plus shipping. how much more money can i make out of these?

Best regards
Chris

Well Kenny

At that time i told everyone that if they can send me payment immediately i will be able to send the cue out before i fly off. If not wait till i get back then i will put up the 2 cues for sale again and respond to those that has PM me before first.

You sent me an email saying that you would like more pictures when i get back.

Usually you would scream "i'll take it" the moment i post something for sale but this time it was another who accepted my terms and offered me payment. Even if he did not choose to buy it there is still another interested party before you. I would have like to sell them to you as i have no problems with transaction with you before. I am not making anything more selling to the other party.

This is most regrettable. I find myself waking up an hour early just to respond to this before i go to work. I sell to who comes first and i will not make exceptions once i agreed to sell.

Chris
Is alright Chris, deal is done and is over. I'll just move on to next cue. Next time if I like something from you I'll just ask. Simple as that.
Thanks, Kenny
P.S.
if you ask all those people to send you payments , Oh boy...you would it be millionair.LOL:p

Just to straighten things out. I did not ask everyone to send me payment. I only ask the one guy who accepted my price and terms to send me payment to conclude the transaction.

If for any reason he decides not to follow through on the deal which happens a lot of time, i will move on the the next buyer.

Best regards

I am a little lost here. I do not sell on ebay. I also did not know that we are actually able to post there.

I also do not understand what right do you have to open up a tread here on this issue when we are never even into a deal. If you can produce any shread of evident that i have agree to sell the cues to you and have instructed you on payment, please produce it so that i may sincerely apologise for my oversight.

This has nothing to do with nothing but I was curious. Why were you selling so cheap? Doesn't the X Breaker sell for around $300 and would easily go for $250? Doesn't the Predator Sneaky sell for about $275 and would go for $200 easy? Why were you selling for only $300? Just curious is all. Has no meaning.

Thanks,
Josh Hillard

As I said just curious. Maybe you were just giving a monster deal? I did just sell a nice Predator BK cue for $110 shipped to Double-Dave when I could of got $175 easy. He was and is very happy with the purchase. :D

The sneaky pete and the xbreaker are my spare cue that i am using now as the titlist that I ordered has not yet arrived and i have sold my southwest which was my playing cue.

Both cues are straight and in good playing condition. The predator sneaky was customised by a cuemaker who added an ivory sleeve joint and ivory hoppe ring and a new wrap.

I never intended to sell this 2 cue. I saw a post about some guy posting here looking to buy some good equipment to start with and i replied offering my spare cues to him. If the condition is bad i would not be using them. And i definitely would not sell them! http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=55419

But for some reason there are others who saw my reply and inquired about the cues. So instead of responding to everyone individually i posted the items up on a new thread to sell them.

And the outcome was this sickening thread.

I believe you will be able to understand my predicament. I am sure you got a lot of pm and offers for that break cue you sold cheaply. It is at times chaotic.

I believed it was priced low hence the interest. I even posted the prices up. I never ask for anything higher. I am always willing to consider a small amount of bargaining. But i think this thread is just too much.
