Unfortunately we have no control as to who post what on our selling thread.Ktown D said:If sellers would rule out the behind the scenes voodoo when they list an item for sale this would not happen. If you list an item with a price stipulate that only posters that reply in the thread will be recognozed as buyers. When someone makes a post in the thread that they will take it and noone else has posted before them they have every right to think they have "dibs". These PM's involving purcahse should be disallowed, if you want it post it and if you back out then everyone will know who is at fault. That would eliminate the he said-she said BS. Questions about the product could be asked and anwered via PM, but if you decide to buy the item you should make a post declaring your intention. If all sales were handled this way this particular situation would not have happened. Any items I sell in the future will be posted this way and I will state it in my description as such.
A lot of people would like to bargain the price in PM before buying it. I understand that and allow that to a certain extend before closing the transaction. There are also others who will post that they will take it but continues haggling in PM.
It is not easy especially when you have something interesting to sell and a lot of PM comes in. Anyone can just declare that they will take it to stop others from showing interest then leisurely try to conclude the transaction.
IMO, if i did not say i agree to sell to you and I have not received your payment, the transaction is not concluded.
I certainly do not want to post a list of the people in the queue. Thats too much for a small priced item. Look at the end of the day, this is about a predator sneaky pete and an xbreaker for $300 plus shipping. how much more money can i make out of these?
Best regards
