Have they been paid? I haven't heard of a single player confirming they've received the last payment in full. So far, I've only heard of Deno saying they've been paid in full. Generally speaking, if Deno or Kevin's lips are moving, they're lying.

Seeing is believing and with anything involving the IPT, I'm not going to believe it until I see it. Before I would put up money for travel expenses, I would have to see hard proof that the prize fund was escrowed.

Given that all of the players finally got paid of course they would play in future events.

Take a look at any of the top players in the world on the players list and look at the year that jumps out as a huge money year for virtually every player, 2006. The fact is that in a single year with only 2 real events the IPT managed to double the available money to the players and it did so in style with well run events in a great format and highly skilled international field.

For all the people on here pissing and moaning about what a con job it was they seem to be missing the point that he did not actually cut and run, he did not just close up shop and leave the players hanging, he paid out every single player and made good.

Any player would be a fool not to play in a future event if it was offered, KT stuck with this as it seems he really wants it to work. Given that online poker has not slowed down in the slightest, even in the USA (I play full tilt and there are a huge number of American players playing on the cash tables and cash tournaments) the business model of using poker advertising and whatnot should not be a major issue, online poker is probably bigger now then it was in 2006 previous to the regulation changes.
