Would you rather gamble vs @ 2 balls stronger, weaker or same speed?

What game would you more prefer?

I'd rather practice wit someone stronger. But I'd rather gamble with someone weaker
. U can intimidate a weaker player and throw them off. No matter how many fancy shots u can pull off. A better player knows you'll miss eventually and then he'll make u pay.

In other words, u can put a weaker player in a coma. A stronger player knows you'll miss eventually and when u do he's gonna make u pay.

Depends on the game. In a game like 10-ball, that is more about execution than strategy, I'd rather play the weaker player because I don't figure to learn much from a stronger player. At 1p or straight pool, I will take the stronger player every time because the potential knowledge I stand to gain will outweigh the risk of losing some money.

If I'm gonna gamble (not likely) I'd rather it be with someone around my speed. Then we're just playing, not worrying about the spot.

In a tournament or league setting, I like playing the stronger player. For the challenge.

Frankly, I'd rather gamble with someone of equal/similar speed. This giving/getting weight thing is a total crapshoot, just like trying to bet on the ponies w/o any inside information.

Now, if I wanted to get a paid pool lesson, I'd want to play someone 2 balls (or more) better than I am.

I am not trying to be a snob, but it ain't no fun playing weak players. I almost never play the weaker players because they always want the nutz. I try to stay in the 8 & up range....... I would definitely play most anyone in my pool hall except for Gabe and maybe a couple other guys like Shane McMinn..... I did have the opportunity to play Corey a couple months back, and I had to open up can o' whoop ass...... of course, when he saw that, he brought a fifty five gallon drum o' whoop ass and poured it all over me..... u know who I wanna play straight up is Lippy Dave.....
