wow 2000 views in less than 24 hours

in one night to a post i made, see there is a new sheriff in town and for the nay-sayers your right i better back it up, i would love to play Dave rodden some 5,000-10,000 sets heads up and we will, we know each other since 86 there was alot of bad blood between us then, now were cool and we are gonna play big, sooner than later and i'm buying a puppy from him too, he is a awesome rotweiller breeder, that game will be fun and should be on TAR if they come to Sacramento, i want to play him in our old stomping grounds. Dave is a cool guy in my book.

i have been making alot of big bets behind the scenes from people right here its not my business to put their losses in the street,

i promis i will be playing champions, i asked Efren and he offered me the 6 LOL, perhaps i will donate to say i played him,

i want to play Bartrum, he called me last week and offered to come to Vegas, I like him already. I was at JOB's and was gonna play him there cheap til we find a good solid game, but i was in the hotel room for 4 days, except 6 hours with my back ache.

Yeah I made alot of statments in that thread and If I dont back them up then I'll shut up, dont execute me yet, I bet on Alex in DCC, against my own words, I could have taken down the rail betting on SVB-something I have never done in that big of arena. Shqne laughed at me afterwards, I will stake champions in games I like and wont get chopped up in, I have been around for years and am pretty wise to that shit, God bless anyone who does that to me.


I'm not reckless, I will pick my spots and yes I can play a little I'm no world beater but I dont rattle for what ever I bet, and I am fun to watch. i'll live up to what I said.

i'm flattered that I got the response I did, I aint a one hit wonder, but I wont be at every tournment etc. But I aint gonna disappear.

I'll come sweat that one if its in Sacramento. I watched Dave take down Kamikazee Bob in Reno (the story in Playing Off the Rail) and it was fun to watch.

Dave isn't a world beater but he's used to playing for some high stakes so it should be a good match.

Fatboy, I'm no champion either. I would like to match up with you in some 8 ball or 9 ball... What can we do Sir?? Looking forward to your reply. Posted a separate thread asking about this just to inform you. I don't know you to just PM and say hey lets play so I felt this would be ok. I'm a respectable player and I'm sure you would enjoy the game if we played.

If you need a tuneup when you get to Sacramento, we can play some, $100 to $1,000. You know how I play and how I am at the table. Win or lose, I am going to have a good time. We are both pretty animated without sharking and it would be fun. If I should win I might fire it at Dave myself. I am on my way to Hard Times right now to stir up a little something. John

i remember you well from Great American, i cant play you 1P, but I'll try you some 9B, you were alot better than me back then and I couldnt afford to play you, my game has improved and I would be honored to play you, I might not like it but I'll fire 2-3 barrells and seee how it looks. I have awalys respected you. I dont think we ever spoke but I did make some bets on the rail on your action, your a gentalman and a honerable man, a great assett to pool. For those who dont know this isnt a ass kiss its a fact, something I wanted to say for years so I did it here in public, I wear my emotions/thoughts on my sleve when paying respect to those I hold in high regard.

On another Sacramento topic I saw Ted Ito for the first time in 18 years in Reno, he didnt remember me, how does this guy not age? wow he looked good, I played him years ago and lost. I think he gave me the 7 and we broke even at Terrys room it was only $20 action(alot for me at the time). Terry was a good friend. My uncle lives in tracy and I will be comming that direction soon. Whats the BEST hotel to stay at in Sac. these days not close to the pool room but the best place period? I will have my own car or rent one. I moved from Sac in 89 and cant remember. Is it down town by the Capital?

I didn't mean to ask you to play one pocket, 9 ball would be fine. Ted Ito is something special for his age. He beat me the last time I played him in the Tuesday tournament at Jointed Cue last year. I will start playing down there in the Tuesday tournaments pretty soon to try and get ready for their March tournament that draws over 100 players every year. I don't know much about the hotels in Sac but will check it out for you. I know there isn't anything close to Hard Times you would want to stay at.
